Dear friend,

Thank you to those that have been reaching out to see if my team and I are okay from the attempted coup at the Capitol. Thankfully my team and I are all safe. What happened was unmistakable — it was a violent attempt to interrupt our democratic process. This was a targeted blow at the most essential process that makes us a democracy.

Holding this President Accountable Through Impeachment

Donald Trump remains the single greatest threat to our democracy. This is why I introduced articles of impeachment so that he cannot threaten our democracy and the world any longer or hold public office ever again. Congress should reconvene immediately to carry out this constitutional duty. To read my resolution click here.

Certifying 2020 Election Results

The horrific events on Wednesday did not stop us from fulfilling our constitutional duty to certify the election results. And despite Republicans’ shameful efforts to object to the certification, even after this violent attack, democracy prevailed. To read my full statement click here.

Representing Our Community for Another Term in Congress

This week, I was sworn in to serve our district for another term. It has been the honor of my life to serve the 5th District. I can’t wait to make good trouble on behalf of my district for another two more years.
